Success Doesn’t Find You.

Success doesn’t find you, you have to go out and get it.

One of the parts of owning my own business is that I have to motivate myself. One of the ways I do this is that I always consider my business is my job and I work as if I am getting paid for a days work by someone else. I also have top of mind to keeping motivated to have a successful business, that is also my driver. ⠀
Have you ever had a great idea… that you talked yourself out of? ⠀
⠀
Go from having an amazing incredible idea to; well yeah I think there is a lot of work, I’m not sure how to, ah it’s the wrong timing. I’ll leave it for now ⠀
⠀
This has definitely happened to me on many occasion, resistance kicks in, and you want to run for the hills :)⠀
⠀
I want to say, you got this! Resistance is normal it’s growing pains, up-levelling…yeah it feels wildly uncomfortable. ⠀
⠀
If it was easy to grow a successful, profitable coaching business everyone would be millionaires! ⠀
⠀
To get a deeper understanding of what makes other business owners tick, I ran a questionnaire out to my audience, asking “What motivates you in your business?” and, I have to say I was thrilled with the front runner which was setting a goal. So I would urge you now to set yourself a goal –
Ask yourself – What do you want to achieve?
Please and write it down, feel committed to it, and follow it through.

Let’s move onto motivation….

7 Ways To Keep Motivated In Your Business

The freedom of being an entrepreneur means that my work days don’t have to look the same, but the motivation certainly doesn’t change. To help you to key into ways to help you stay motivated to grow your business, I’m going to share with you some ways you can consider using, to help you to stay motivated in your business journey.
Motivation Is Internal – working on our internal dialog is the most important thing. Acknowledging resistance and working on resolving those feelings, which BTW we all feel time to time, is vital in our quest to building a successful business.
Why Is This Important To You – Having a positive loop to refer back to is incredibly powerful. Reminding yourself exactly WHY you are growing your business is great to have at the top of your mind. It’s so easy to loose sight of that reason at times of overwhelm and distraction.
Set A Goal – Challenge yourself with a goal, however feels most aligned with you it could be a daily goal, weekly, monthly or quarterly goal. Consider what’s one thing you must accomplish to make today a success
Create A Motivation Routine – This is my absolute favourite, can you recognize any actions or activities you do that help you to feel motivated? Think of playing music, dancing, exercising, meditating, journaling, taking a walk these are all great ways to help you feel ready to take action and keep focused. Consider your motivation routine and create a daily ritual around your favourite activities.
Listen To Someone Inspiring – Who inspires you, make a list of people who make you feel like you can take on the world. Create a list of motivating people, I like to take a walk and listen to someone who motivates me, this could be an audio book, listen to their Youtube, or a Podcast episode.
Create A Community – Hang out with people who inspire you and motivate you, people who are into the same things as you. I have to say this is one of the best life lesson I have learnt, if you can’t find what you need, create it yourself.
Reward Yourself – It’s always nice to celebrate our achievements, add a reward onto that and this could be a perfect driver for you to get things done.
